Sarah Gregoire Amersfoort

My name is Sarah Gregoire. I’m a 24 year old artist from the Netherlands. When I was 12 years old I started painting and drawing. I come from a creative family and from an early age on I felt the need to express myself in a creative way. Painting and drawing always helped me to express my feelings when I didn’t feel like talking to anyone, in good times and bad times.
I never stopped making art, I don’t only draw and paint, but I like to experiment with new materials and techniques. I would describe my work as colorful and sometimes strange. I paint whatever I'm inspired by at that moment. Most of the time it's beautiful people that interest me that inspire me to make a painting. Things and people you might recognize in my work are Frida Kahlo and her artwork, tattoos, music, animals, worries, movies, friends and lots more.

At the moment I study art therapy in Amersfoort in The Netherlands. I also see making art as a form of therapy for myself at times.
