Avan

Avan Omar, the visual artist, was born in Sulaymaniyah, South Kurdistan, where she grew up and graduated from the University of Fine Arts. Her work and explore different issues through several different frameworks and modalities. She embody my ideas through performances, installations, images, and text. Avan has participated in many groups shows because she love working together and in groups, and has also done many solo shows. Avan hold a Master of Fine Art from the Dutch Art Institute (DAI), and a Master of Fine Art from ArtEZ in Arnhem
