Cozy studio available in Haarlem to share

A 20m² studio on the second floor of ”Het Badhuis", a vibrant community centre in Haarlem, is available for rent. Located in a friendly neighborhood just a short walk from the city centre, the space offers a calm and comfortable spot for painting, design, writing, coaching, digital work, or hosting small workshops.

Please note: the studio faces a public school, so it can be lively during school hours.

The space includes:

Access to a shared sink and a small eating corner just outside the studio
A cozy café downstairs with a sunny terrace — ideal for taking breaks or finding inspiration
Wi-Fi included
Weekly garbage collection by a cleaner
Optional access to a larger workshop room at a very reasonable rate

I use this studio primarily for my own ink painting practice and lessons (www.soonhwa-kang.com) and for hosting creative workshops (www.hanato.site). While I love working here, I also work from home and from other locations — and occasionally take long vacations — so I’d love to share this inspiring space with someone respectful and creative.

Important to know:
This is my personal studio, thoughtfully arranged with my own materials and atmosphere. If you rent the space for a day or several days, you are warmly welcome to come and focus on your work. The studio is best suited for those who work with a computer or creatives who need a quiet place to concentrate using small-scale materials.

Please note that the studio is not a shared workshop, exhibition, or storage space. Activities that require large equipment, permanent setup, or substantial working space are not suitable here. Storage is limited: I can provide a designated box under the table for your essential tools during your rental period, but finished works or large materials cannot be stored in the studio long-term.

Shared rental — Monthly:
• €170 per month — approximately 3–4 days per week. The specific working days will be discussed together to ensure a comfortable rhythm for both of us.
This arrangement is intended for someone who is looking for continuity and a dedicated place to work, and who will treat the studio with care and respect.

Summer vacation only (July/August):
• €400 for 4 weeks
• €500 for 6 weeks
