Can any object become a musical instrument? Even the most ordinary objects carry the potential for resonance. At a house party, a pan might turn into a drum, or a salt shaker into a maraca. And who hasn’t tried, with varying success, to whistle through a beer bottle? For reclame #9, primeira desordem invites you to master this skill. What may seem like a hobby, a pastime, or a playful exercise takes on new significance when practiced collectively: the act of learning, repeating, and playing together becomes a way of reclaiming time and attention. On the sidewalk, the sound of bottles will unfold as a poetic gesture, a gathering, a soft protest, and a temporary concert shared with those who join in.??

primeira desordem is a multidisciplinary project by Hugo Gomes (PT/GE) and João Marques (PT) that explores the fictional potential of visual, political and social structures. Working with a variety of media — sculpture, video, installation, performance, poetry and crime — the artistic process is embraced as an ironic, self constructed language.

Slijterij Madison is a liquor shop with an extensive selection of alcoholic beverages and wines. Many thanks to the owner Sabri for hosting us. The presentation will be visible until 29 September. Slijterij Madison is open every day from 14:00 to 22:00 and on Sunday from 12:00 to 22:00.
