The exhibition’s title refers to the book ‘Sand talk, how indigenous thinking can save the world’ by Tyson Yunkaporta. In which ‘global’ systems and their breakdowns are approached from an indigenous knowledge perspective.
‘Sand talks’ are forms of communication in which the perspectives of different generations, the connection with geology, flora and fauna, (non-linear) time and memory play a role.
