Wabi Sabi
Finding beauty in the imperfect and incomplete.

After courses at Idea Soest (formerly C3) with lessons from Theo Naessens and after some time of exploring myself, I followed the training at the Saturday Art Academy for a period. After canceling this, I took courses at Akademie Filarski such as mixed media, abstract work and Wabi Sabi.

At the Geistreich Academy Germany I followed various painting and collage techniques from, among others, Cordula Kagemann and working with building materials such as marble flour, ash, champagne chalk, stains and waxes and working with pigments and acrylic paint from, among others, Ines Hildur. And in 2024 I started Tara Axford's course: Inspired by Nature and Donna Watson's course: The Way of Wabi Sabi Collage with Donna Watson at Fiber Arts Take Two (Australia). This last course in particular is a dream come true!
