My name is Rick Maijer (1976, Utrecht) - self-taught - plastic waste artist.
From an early age I have been creative and enjoy working with my hands.
By working on my creative projects I find peace in this busy world.

Ricks Kunst was born from a passion for art and sustainability.
In a world that is becoming increasingly aware of the impact of waste, I decided to become a waste artist and take action by giving plastic waste a new life.
My goal is not only to show the beauty in recycled materials, but also to inspire and encourage people to be more conscious about waste.
By making art from materials that would otherwise end up in landfill, we contribute to a sustainable planet.
