John Dilling is an autonomous visual artist of reductive art. In his minimalistic geometric work he trying out compositions of ‘non objective’ concrete art, his striking use of color enable him to construct works in relief, which the sculptural explores a model of architectural form and where color depicts a physical structure.
He research the harmonious colour combinations in a game that moves him.
The resulting work is a sophisticated visual vocabulary of form and color.
Dilling is inspired by the Bauhaus architecture school with the Color-Theory in Weimar (D) are his affinity of the simplicity in form and pattern, reflecting on nature.

About his climate work as visual artist but also as human, are his work related to the climate change and global warming.
Dilling is not an activist, he says, but through his vision with the passion he has within his work, he wants create some awareness about the environment and climate, without the use of any fossil fuels on his own artistic and circulair way, creating with nothingness.
Waste natural materials as wood, cardboard, paper, metals, electric wires and plastic's what he finds or discovers on his path.
