Barbs Sculpture Garden-Atelier-Galerie is a small sculpture garden with her own creations by artist Barbara Pijnappel. She has been making her timeless sculptures in bronze, stone and ceramics for over 35 years. There are also drawings and paintings in different techniques.
The style of her work is diverse. It can be figurative and abstract and sometimes it can lean towards organic and/or surreal. In recent years, inspiration came for organic/abstract images in different types of stone, including alabaster, various marbles, serpentine, Belgian bluestone, granite.
She makes free work and assignments. She gives soapstone and modeling workshops and from Sept. 2021 a modeling course in Apeldoorn's art and culture center Gigant. She exhibits at home and abroad at gastronomic restaurants, sculpture gardens, galleries, museums and online.

Barb's Sculpture Garden can be visited by appointment or during open afternoons. The organic garden is varied and planted with different shrubs, flowers, herbs + fruit trees + vegetables. At the back of the garden is her sculpture place + soapstone workshops are given if possible outside. It is a pet friendly ecological garden, there is a pond with plants, frogs, even spotted a salamander and other water creatures. Birds, hedgehogs, bees, butterflies and other critters have been taken into account in the planting in order to be able to find food in the garden. There is an insect hotel and bird houses.
