My origin, mother a foundling, father an inspired cellist and pianist.
The first eight child-years in Indonesia, mother and grandmother.
Mental growth, saudade and melancholy, in awe of the world around me.
The child, our humanity with all its vulnerability.
Ah, what can I say to you, emotions crying out to be expressed.

Wanting to reach back, to feel back in time, makes intuition search for that image what's in the minds eye. Or developing later during the creative process.

There is a preference to stilled images sometimes with a vehement undertone. Approach is conceptual. Multidisciplinary work surfaces.
Themed portraits in figurative and abstract form in drawings and mixed techniques on paper and canvas/textile.

Photography, video and spacial in textile, wood, bronze and ceramics. Installations and Performances.

This site gives a concise summary from 2002 to the here and now.
