From an early age I had a teddy bear. And when I went to the zoo for a birthday party, I couldn't get away from the bears. One got up on his hind legs and raised one leg. I was convinced it was special to me because I loved bears so much because of my teddy bear. Years later I came to the Bear Forest and there was a bear dangling with one paw over a tree trunk. He was so funny and also endearing that I had to make a sculpture of it.
