Mold is a multicellular fungus, growing and changing shape and colour layer by layer. Sweet Mold is a growing concert in 2D, 3D and 4D performed by Atsuko Hatano (composer, musician, violist) and Saskia Griepink (drawing and collage artist) in which they combine live music and drawing into an interactive performance.

“We are not an artist duo. We are two artists who met each other a year ago on Instagram and later in real life in Amsterdam and Berlin. We’re inspired by each other’s work and are currently working on Études - music and drawing experiences - using Skype as the bridge between Japan and the Netherlands.

During or first real life collaborative performance in Tetem on the 19th of May, we will make our own private work inspired by each other, like two different cells who meet, touch and then grow in different directions.”

Atsuko and Saskia invite you all for ther first collaborative performance on Sunday 19th of May:
14:30 Short introduction by the artists
14:40 Live concert and drawing performance, played in different parts
15:45 Q&A with the public
16:00 End and the opportunity to discover Tetem's exhibitions
