- Cable Tree - “wiring harness” Climate Change Artwork. Synthesis of technology and natural materials. My work as a visual artist are inspired by Climate Change and global warming. I am not an activist but on my artistic way I want to manifest through this work an awareness for a better balance with the climate for a good healthy environment and climate without the abuse of all Fossil Fuels. For my imaging have I electric power cable shaped into a tree, metaphorical of the relation with nature and our environment. Electricity flows through all kinds of wiring into electronic equipment like aircraft’s, automobiles, computers, etc. I believe art can educate and engage people on climate change. Used materials are: Circular sustainable raw natural materials as electric wires of copper constructed on canvas.
