feedback. As a response to what we are lacking, tactility will become more and
more important. In these living electronical products, ‘Biotronicols’, the skin of
the products is the important tactile factor.
It can feel warm or cold, soft or with bumps, there are even hairs growing out
of the buttons. The cord is to connect them to each other.
They can be charged by putting them in a bowl of nutricious gel,
which they obtain through their gills.
based on a persons DNA blueprint. A combination of human DNA (special permission
granted) and a mussel. The teeth can be implanted in the jaw.

ENG. | The exhibition jury of PRIMER18 (Conference for Design, Strategy & Future, organized by Design Futures) has nominated my projects: 'BioTronicols' and 'TeethMussel', for the PRIMER 18 Emerging Designer Exhibition. My project is one of the nominees chosen from 76 entries from 23 institutes/organizations across the world.
My project will be exhibited during the PRIMER18 conference on Friday, May 4th at the David Brower Center in Berkeley, California

Mijn project zal worden tentoongesteld tijdens de PRIMER18-conferentie op vrijdag 4 mei in het David Brower Center in Berkeley, Californië
is een designer en kunstenaar uit Castricum.
Ze heeft Design Academy Eindhoven en de Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht richting product design gevolgd. Na jaren als productvormgever gewerkt te hebben bij ontwerpbureau`s, ontwerpt ze nu bij haar eigen DesignStudio Dáárheen, die zich vooral richt op trends, tendensen in de samenleving.( o.a. technologische, sociaal-maatschappelijke.)
Na onderzoek zet zij deze ontwikkelingen om in een concreet productontwikkelingsadvies.
Opmerkelijke bevindingen uit haar trend onderzoek zet zij om in Speculatief design scenario`s en kunstobjecten. Ze heeft als gastdocent meerdere gastlessen gegeven op het gebied van toekomstontwerp en productforecasting, speculatief design, bij diverse instituten en hogescholen.
De kunstobjecten die ze maakt komen vaak voort uit onderzoek naar een bepaald thema en uit verwondering.
