To me they symbolize transformation. The frog croaks in the evening in the spring - the transition from day to night. The brown toad is in the garden, but you don't see it, unless it starts hopping or if you remove weeds, then you suddenly see a toad, it is a bit mysterious. In the brown color it is a pad = this is in stock. This statue in green is a frog = not in stock, but can still be cast and patinated.
