For those that are familiar with my huntingcartoons, may recognise that style in this painting. There is a surrealistic idea behind this painting that involves the Celtic mysteries of the earth Goddess who has and grants the power to whomsoever deserve it. To excel in her challenge the title 'the horned god' can be achieved. Her challence is "do good as good as you can, and I will make you king, even better, you could become the horned god..."
So that red deer in the wood could easily be much more than just a wild animal, who's to say ...
