Everything we do, we do it together. No wonder you can feel the passion in our paintings! Our specific qualities and years and years of working together has brought us a very unique and special way, a very own style.
"Their art radiates a certain courage. On the one hand, the paintings literally pop off the wall; on the other hand, the organic shapes and patterns radiate a tranquility, which ensures that the works can really decorate any interior." We like that compliment so much that we are happy to use it.
Every painting is made up of many layers. The structure of the relief, the colors of the previous layers and any underlying themes give each work its own character. Sometimes you experience a special feeling of depth and you are, so too say, sucked into the painting! The last exhibitions were very successful, so we have once again worked very very hard to present you with a lot of new works. You're invited - wholehearted!

As early as the thirteenth century, the lordship of Schakerloo had its own parish and Catholic church. The church was destroyed during the Reformation, but the old cemetery has been preserved. The hamlet of Oudeland is still around it. With sheep, horses and a lovely house where we live and work. You are welcome these days from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Oudeland 6, 4691 RS Tholen.

Jo Debije: het creatieve wonderkind en Josie Arnoys: de perfectionist. Ze leven samen, ze werken samen. Roer hun kwaliteiten door elkaar en er ontstaat een schilderij wat ze zelf liefkozend een ‘verfding’ noemen. Laag voor laag bouwen ze hun werken op, waardoor letterlijk diepte op het doek ontstaat. Van al die verschillende lagen zien we uiteindelijk de buitenkant. Zoals u ook bij mensen in eerste instantie de buitenkant ziet. Als ik langer kijk merk ik dat ook de binnenkant, gevoel en emotie van de lagen die je niet meer ziet, meespeelt in hoe ik het werk ervaar.
De kosmos, verbinding van het onmetelijk grote en minuscule kleine én de magie van eb en vloed zorgen voor immer stromende inspiratie. De expositie toont meer dan veertig schilderijen. Daarnaast zijn ook kleinere digi-art werken te koop. Deze zijn eveneens opgebouwd uit verschillende lagen: delen van hun schilderijen worden op de computer gecombineerd met eigen natuurfoto’s en daaroverheen wordt digitaal getekend. Het eindresultaat is in beperkte oplage geprint op aluminium, genummerd en gesigneerd.
