Traditionally, the art route is organized in the picturesque center of Tholen on King's Day. A walk of 1500 steps takes you through the historic center where you will be surprised in various places with visual art and music.

Galerie Onder de Linde will host some of our paintings. Galerie Onder de Linde, Hoogstraat 11, 4691 CA Tholen: in the middle of the town, opposite the old town hall. You are welcome.

Tholen, one of the oldest towns in Zeeland, is located near Bergen op Zoom, is easy to reach and has plenty of free parking.

New Yorkkaai 67 - Antwerp

Want to spend a day in Antwerp? You can park at the Rijnkaai car park for €6 for a whole day. It is a 12-minute walk to the gallery, and 8 minutes to Museum aan de Stroom. The Cadix district is in full development. You will find various eateries and of course many boats. "Het Eilandje", the oldest port site in Antwerp, officially had no name. The residents originally called this neighborhood 'the Yellow Quarter' after the yellow brick houses. Later the district was called 'Cadixwijk' after the Cadixstraat, which is centrally located in the district. Cadix is ??a corruption of Cádiz, the Spanish port city that was once the most important supply port for the spice trade for Antwerp. Like Cádiz, the Cadix district is located on a peninsula formed by the surrounding docks.

“We paint without thinking, the movement repeats itself. Layers stack up, creating shape and depth. Then colors flow; who will conquer the winner of yesterday, today, tomorrow? Again and again and again, further, deeper, more powerful. Jo's daring, the urge, even violence. Josie's details, refinement, softness. Extremes that play together on the canvas. They dance, compete, find peace and tumble over one another. Eventually the paint dries. Though the movement, it continues. It's only good enough when we're both happy with the newborn, more than satisfied. Does it fascinate, does it grab you, is it alive? What else does the work need, how can it be improved? Is there an end to that? Is 'the child' allowed to go out into the world and do its thing?"

The hamlet of Oudeland is still around it. With sheep, horses and a lovely house where we live and work. These days we welcome you from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Oudeland 6, 4691 RS Tholen.
