The painting shown here shows the Balliol Dining Hall in Oxford (England). Bert visited this hall in May 2023 during a holiday trip to England and Wales. The painting shows several portraits looking at the viewer. The people depicted have a special meaning for Bert. They are partly inspired by old photos from a carefully preserved family album.
