- Spark plugs The Crooks of our Climate - Synthesis of nature and technology. I believe art can educate and engage people on climate change. My work as a visual artist are inspired with the Climate Change and global warming. I am not an activist but on my artistic way I want to manifest through this work an awareness for a better balance with the climate for a good healthy environment and climate. Spark plugs form a geometric pattern of a Fossilized Sea Star 80.000.000 years.! Spark plug has the function to detonating fossil fuels for mechanical propulsion. During the industrial revolution and the traditional energy transition began in the 19th century, the Spark Plug was invented by Lenoir (F) “1860” for burning up Fossil Fuels. Fossil Fuels such as petrol, diesel, gas, etc. Electric and H2 hydrogen is the future.
Tijdens de industriële revolutie van de 19e eeuw is de bougie uitgevonden - door Lenoir (F) - om Fossiele brandstoffen te exploderen voor de aandrijving van conventionele technieken met verbrandingsmotoren. De uitstoot komt in ons klimaat terecht als stikstof, CO2 en fijnstof. Dit Milieu kunstwerk, een synthese van natuur en techniek, heb ik door middel van deze Bougies en schroeven in een geometrisch patroon en verbeeldt het een gefossiliseerde zee-ster van zo’n 80.000.000 jaar oud. Fossiele brandstoffen zoals benzine, diesel, gas etcetera. Elektrisch en H2 waterstof is de toekomst.
