Dutch National Art Days

19-20 November 2022 Dutch National Art Days Evenementenhal Gorinchem

In 2022 the 11th version of the Dutch National Art Days will again take place in the Evenementenhal Gorinchem in the Netherlands. It is a beautiful art fair with more than 1,000 works of art created by acclaimed Dutch artists. Participation in the National Art Days exhibition is only possible by invitation. The valuation is made by visitors and a professional jury present at previous exhibitions.

The National Art Days 2022 will take place on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November. More than 3500 visitors are expected. Bert Hermans will be there on these days and would welcome meeting you there. He was also one of the exhibitors of the National Art Days exhibition in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021.

EuropArtFair Amsterdam 2022

Bert was again selected for the third edition of the EuropArtFair. This fair is unique in its kind: visitors will be shown a cross-section of art by carefully selected contemporary artists from all over Europe and even beyond. More importantly, the meet-and-greet with the artists is part of the deal!

Dallas Art Fair, USA

Bert is participating on invitation on September 16-18 2022 at Artexpo Dallas in the USA. Artexpo Dallas is Redwood Art Group’s newest addition to their list of modern and contemporary art fairs. An Exhibitor Committee consisting of four individuals with outstanding reputations in publishing and artist development will oversee curation of the fair. Strict hanging guidelines, aesthetics, and attention to detail will be enforced, providing a streamlined, crisp, and clean venue for gallery owners, designers, architects, and collectors to enjoy.

Exhibition 'Water'

Bert participated in the Art Competition 'Water' held by the Kunstkring Prins Alexander. The submitted works, including the oil painting 'Hoogwater' painted by Bert, can be seen in the Huis van de Wijk Ommoord (previously De Molshoop) until the end of September. The address is: Sigrid Undsetweg 300, 3069 BV Rotterdam. Opening hours: Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Nartional Atelier Weekend

During the National Atelier Weekend, Bert opens his studio to interested parties. That is the chance to meet the artist and see his work in his studio at Vest 69 in Gouda.
In 2022, the spring edition of the National Atelier Weekend will take place on 25 & 26 June. On Saturday 25 June it is paid parking in the city center of Gouda where the studio is located. In that case, it is best to park (free) in the De Korte Akkeren district, for example in the Vorstmanstraat. From there it is about a 10-minute walk to the studio. You will then pass the museum harbor of Gouda and cross the water at the Mallegatssluis.

Kunst Podium Prinsen Park Rotterdam

On June 12, 2022, Bert will participate in the Kunst Podium in the Prinsen Park (KPPP). There are then about 20 members of the Kunstkring Prins Alexander who exhibit work there. There are also workshops for all ages.
The KPPP takes place in collaboration with the MPPP (Music Stage in the Prinsen Park). The Youth Philharmonic Orchestra will perform there on June 12.

Solo exhibition Industrial and cultural heritage library Gouderak

From June 1 to September 28, 2022, Bert will exhibit approximately 14 paintings in the library in Gouderak. For those who want to visit the exhibition until the end of September, the opening hours are: Monday 10:00 - 12:00 and 19:00 - 20:30; Wednesday 10am - 2pm; Thursday 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM.
The library of Gouderak can be found at J. Huurmanlaan 4, 2831XT, Gouderak.
Gouderak is easily accessible by car via Gouda and by bicycle also via the ferry in Moordrecht. If you would like an explanation from Bert about the 14 paintings, please call in advance via 06-55324696, then Bert will make sure he is there.
